In St. Petersburg, on February 6, 2008 there was a session of Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts headed  by its President Zurab Tsereteli.

The agenda included problems of digital inventory of museum and library funds, restoration and maintenance of the Academy’s buildings and enrichment of its collections. Zurab Tsereteli informed about a program of forthcoming events in relation to the Year of Russia in France and France in Russia (2010).

The Golden Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts was awarded to Olga Krivdina and Boris Tychinin for their basic work “Sculpture and Sculptors of St. Petersburg”.
