The exhibition of Victor Yamschikov’s works

 On November, 2, 2006 at 18.00 an exhibition of Victor Yamschikov’s works opened at the exhibitional halls of Zurab Tsereteli’s Art Gallery.

The exposition includes picturesque landscapes of Saint-Petersburg, Paris, Shanhai, Russia.

The artists creates subtle, poetic in their mood, expressive and decorative landscapes and still-lives. Their peculiarity is an especial wholeness of the seeing of nature, artist is sincere and emotional in it.

   Many of V.Yamschikov’s works are dedicated to Saint-Petersburg and are full of emotion to the native city. The artists renders the city plastics, the beauty of the buildings, channels, embankments, parks, shows the perspective of the streets and squares.

   In V.Yamschikov’s Chinese landscapes, presented at the exhibition, there is a sense of harmony that unites nature and man.
