The exhibition of Eduard Putintsev’s works

   On December, 21 an exhibition of the merited architect of Russia Eduard Putintsev’s works opens at the exhibitional halls of Russian Academy of Arts (Prechistenka str., 21).

   More than 50 buildings and constructions were created after E.Putintsev’s projects in Russia and abroad. His works were awarded with the Golden medal at the World exhibition in Monreal and with the diploma of the World biennale of architecture in Hungary.

   Putintsev travels a lot and fixes his impressions in rapid and exact sketches. There are images of more than 40 countries in his graphics and paintings, some of which are kept  in the State Tretyakov Gallery and other museums of Russia, museums of California, France and many private collections in Russia and abroad.

   Exposition includes more than 60 paintings and water-colours, created as a result of the voyages. These are the landscapes of Russia, Karelia, Altay, Pamir, ancient Russian towns, Yakutsk, Magadan, Norvegia and other places. Along with the chamber lyrical works the epical canvases are presented.

   The exhibition is retrospective, the works from the end of 1940-s are shown.
