The Academic Drawing in Russia (XVIII-XXI Century): Research Conference In Memory of Nikolai A. Ramazanov (1817-1867)
The Russian Academy of Arts, Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the RAA invite you to take part in the research conference “The Academic Drawing in Russia (XVIII-XXI Century). In Memory of Nikolai A. Ramazanov (1817-1867)” to be held under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Culture. It will take place at the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the RAA (21 Prechistenka street, 2nd floor, room 8) on June 22, 2017.
Dedicated to his 200th Birth Anniversary of Nikolai Ramazanov - the eminent sculptor, artist, art historian, Professor and Academician of the Imperial Academy of Arts, the Conference deals with all types and techniques of the academic drawing, its history, development and important role in the art education and creativity of Russian artists in various periods of Russian art.
