WORLD CULTURE AS A RESOURCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: The 2nd International Forum

The Russian Academy of Arts, UNESCO International Chair for Fine Arts and Architecture and Moscow International Foundation for Support to UNESCO invite you to attend the 2nd International Forum “WORLD CULTURE AS A RESOURCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”, that will take place at the Russian Academy of Arts (19 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on September 19-20, 2017. The Forum is part of the program in honor of the 260th Anniversary of the Russian Academy of Arts. The Forum includes an International Conference and ETHNO ART FEST International Ethno-Cultural Festival.
The Forum’s main goals are the promotion strengthening of principles of mutual respect and mutual understanding among nations, representatives of various cultures and religious confessions, systematization of cultural knowledge and study of the phenomenon of cultural traditions of peoples of the world, as well as multinational cultural space of Russia.
The Conference deals with the peculiarities of world and Russian culture, visual art of Russia and other countries, problems of preservation of the national identity, study of the processes of the dialogue of cultures.  The ETHNO ART FEST is aimed at the promotion of international cultural and humanitarian cooperation, preservation of national ethno-cultural traditions, national arts and crafts of Russia and CIS countries.
