MONUMENTAL ART AND ARCHITECTURE. PROBLEMS OF THE SYNTHESIS OF ARTS IN HISTORY AND IN THE XXI-ST CENTURY: XXXII ALPATOV READINGS

The  Department of Art History and Art Criticism of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) invites you to attend the International Research Conference – XXXII ALPATOV READINGS on the theme “Monumental Art and Architecture. Problems of the Synthesis of Arts in History and in the 21st Century”, that will take place in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts (21 Prechistenka street, Moscow) on November 25-26, 2021. The Conference will also be live broadcast on the YouTube-channel of the Russian Academy of Arts.

The Conference is aimed at the research of the complex and multi-sided process of the synthesis of arts by the example of monumental art and architecture. The objective assessment of such a synthesis can be given only as a result of studying this phenomenon in the art of the past and present. The Conference will be accompanied by publication of its proceedings.
