Exhibition in Honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Urals, Siberia and Far East Regional Department of the Russian Academy of Arts

Organized by the Culture Ministry of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Center for International and Religious Cultural Relations, the Urals, Siberia and Far East Department of the Russian Academy of Arts Krasnoyarsk Regional Organization of the Artists’ Union of Russia, the exhibition brings together the creative potential of three major regions of Russia covering the territory from Yakutia in the North to Tyva and Primorye in the South, Khanty-Mansiysk and Omsk in the West to Sakhalin and Magadan in the East.

Comprising over 150 artworks, the exhibition reveals the continuities and changes in the art by masters of the Academy of Arts and young talented artists. These are Anatoly Levitin, German Pashtov, Areg Demirkhanov, Vitaly Volovich, Sergey Anufriev, Gennady Raishev,  Galina Viezel, Sergei Golynets, Galina Golynets, Timur Didishvili, Nickolai Rotko, Konstantin Kuzminykh, Konstantin Voinov, Konstantin Zinich, Georgy Kichigin, Mickhail Shishin and others.

The events in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Urals, Siberia and Far East  Department of the Russian Academy of Arts also include a research conference “Russian Academy of Arts and Art Culture of the Urals, Siberia and Far East”
to be held in Krasnoyarsk on October 6-7, 2017.
