As part of the All-Russian Creative and Educational Project of the Russian Academy of Arts “Academicians – to Young Artists and Scientists” timed to the Year of the Teacher and Tutor there will a master class in digital art of the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Arts Konstantin Khudyakov “The Art of Deep Immersion. Innovation Technologies in Fine Arts”, that will take place in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts on May 11, 2023 at 14.00. The entrance is free. The Moderator: Anna K. The master class has been organized by the Research Institute of Theory and History of Fine Arts of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Volga Region Department of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The Vice-President and Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, Head of the Volga Region Department of the RAA, President of the Creative Artists’ Union of Russia Konstantin Khudyakov will share his experience and vision of the trends and innovations in the world art digital space, these are “Painting and Computer Games”, “Interactive Installations”, “Meta-verses and the Time Machine”, “Neural Networks and the Creation of Images, Pictures, Animations”, “Fundamental Digital Animation”, virtual and added reality, etc.
In the Russian art space Konstantin Khudyakov is a recognized leader of the Russian art of digital technologies. Each of his recent projects showcases new possibilities of creating art images of the era of network intelligence while he remains a follower of academic art.
In 2017-2019 Konstantin Khudyakov has been involved in the large-scale project of the interior decoration of the Moscow subway station “Fonvizinskaya” where for the first time in the world practice the newest stereo-technologies in monumental art were applied. In 2020 there was completed the museum project “The Stroganovs. The Perm Period” – the unique reconstruction of historical portraits of the Stroganov dynasty with the use of technologies of AR and VR reality - the result of Khudyakov’s team work of more than a year. On the basis of the historical and architectural “Stroganov Usolie” Preserve in the Perm Region there was executed a permanent exposition basing on a series of stereographic portraits-reconstructions of historical figures involving artists, historians and IT-program developers.
