On August 2, 2023 the famous art collector, Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Yury Traisman is marking his 75th anniversary. His collection contains more than two thousand works of painting, graphics and sculpture representing all the directions of Russian avant-garde mainly of the postwar period. Yury Traisman is actively involved in the cultural activity – he has been the organizer of more than 10 major exhibitions, arranges and gives master classes in museums and universities of the United States, Europe and Russia. Exhibitions of works from his collections are a constant success.
The Russian Academy of Arts has congratulated Yury Traisman on his 75th anniversary. The Letter of Greetings, in particular, runs:

The collector, public figure, businessman and philanthropist who actively promotes the ideas of tolerance and mutual understanding in today’s world, you are a holder of one of the biggest collections of Russian art in the world including works by artists of non-conformism, a vast collection of porcelain of pre-revolutionary and Soviet time, unique porcelain gifts to the leaders. Your exhibitions are held in the most prestigious museums of the world, you are always on the go, moving forward and expanding your vision of the art world.
